The "New Sound" of Montarbo
Kariotis Audio & Lighting has announced the exclusive distribution of Italian MONTARBO products for the Greek market. Montarbo does not need recommendations for older people, but for younger people who either do not know it or have misunderstood it as "old" and untenable, it is worth mentioning that the Italian company through its new management (EKO GROUP) is upgraded constantly looking the future with the necessary expertise and experience, always remaining a company made in Italy.
A typical example is the WIND PRO-EARTH PRO active speakers that support DANTE Connection and on-line set up with a network for each M-Connect speaker without additional interface.
A first taste we got from the demo of the Montarbo speakers that had been installed in a smaller room at the back of the building. There we heard the WindPro 215A (two per side) accompanied by the (4 per side) sub Earth Pro 118A (18inch, band-pass architecture), the Wind Pro 208A (three-way, wearing two eighty woofers with the highest of them (mid) to coaxial coupling a 1-inch HFdriver, while of course it is active with class D amplifier, 24/96 DSP and fully networkable controlled) accompanied by sub Earth Pro 115A (one per side as sub / satellite) and LMP350A (2-way with 8 inch woofer and 1 inch horn) with the Under Earth 112 (also as sub / satellite).
The acoustic impression of the new generation Montarbo have shown that they are reliable systems with an analytical and almost 'atmospheric' sound, 'soft' character without frequent excitement and quite pleasant even if pressed. It is undoubtedly worth the Montarbo new choices, especially if you are looking for a affordable and versatile set, with all the modern technological solutions applied to it and in a simple and easy to use way.
