    Under The Hood

The DiGiCo Quantum 638 is a either single or dual engine, 256 channel mixing console with 38 physical faders and 3 x 17″ LCD high-resolution touchscreens. Combining the extraordinary might of five large-scale FPGAs, the Quantum 638 redefines digital mixing consoles.

With a maximum of 256 input channels, with 128 Aux / Sub-Group busses, plus the familiar LR / LCR / 5.1 Master busses. It comes with a 48 x 48 Processing Matrix, 36 Control Groups, two Solo busses, 48 FX Rack slots and 32 Graphic EQs. Also included as standard are Mustard Processing channel strips, Spice Rack plugin style native FPGA processing options, Nodal Processing and True Solo.

"We took the best elements of our time-tested SD7 and SD5 and combined them with the latest Quantum technology to create the ultimate Q6."

    Austin Freshwater
    Managing Director, DiGiCo

Ideal for theatre productions, the Quantum638T paired with DiGiCo’s optional “T” software adds key features such as Auto Update, Aliases, Players, advanced CG programming and Matrix Nodal Delays for plays and musicals.
Newly enhanced Macro buttons are found within easy reach, putting clear visual information exactly where it is needed, and there are four designated channel Macros, meaning the Macro moves with the channel depending on the console layout.
As standard, the product is equipped with onboard Dante and other connectivity options, including a built-in Fourier Interface Card for native worksurface compatibility with Fourier Audio’s transform.engine platform.
